Review: Salomon Shift Pro Boots
With southwest Montana’s mix of backcountry and downhill ski terrain, I need boots that can handle it all. Salomon’s Shift Pro 100 AT Ski Boots are built for both uphill and downhill travel, with a women-specific design. Specifically, a rear support fits the natural curve of calves, so I no longer cramp up, nor have imprints from my socks and boots on my legs after a long ski day. Thanks to the GripWalk pads, I can even get through the Bridger Bowl parking lot with good traction and wave baby-giraffe status goodbye. Available at salomon.com; $650.
