Katie Thomas

Born and raised in Bozeman, Katie Thomas grew up riding in her dad’s driftboat while he taught her to fish the Madison, Gallatin, and Jefferson rivers. She later became more of a whitewater kayaker, living in a cabin at the base of Mount Baker in Washington, and spending summers working and boating in Yellowstone Park. She is now a freelance writer, writing about people, food, and the outdoors.
