A timeline of local wildflowers.

With each spring comes a colorful awakening, as the snowline retreats and plants begin to stretch their weary limbs. Our meadows and forests take on a lush spectrum of greens as they soak up the sun; what’s more, we find varying shades of yellow, red, and blue dotting the landscape—wildflowers emerging to round out the primary palette. You don’t have to go far; our town trails such as the M, Drinking Horse, and Triple Tree offer some of the best opportunities for finding color. Here’s a timeline of when you can expect to see each flower.
