Review: Saguaro Active II Shoes

If you’re after a lightweight, no-fuss shoe that lets your feet move how they're supposed to, look no further than the Saguaro Active II. With a flexible sole, roomy toe box, and breathable mesh upper, these shoes feel less like footwear and more like a second skin, ideal for everything from local trail loops to everyday errands.

The wide fit is especially advantageous for anyone dealing with bunions or foot soreness. Mine are the lingering result of years crammed into ski boots, but the Active II offered immediate relief without pressure points. They’re also surprisingly grippy on both dirt and pavement, and the casual, sneaker-like look makes them easy to wear around town.

While they probably won’t hold up to sharp rock scrambles or heavy-duty mountain missions, they’re great for daily wear, low-impact adventures, and travelling. Plus, at under $70, they’re a no-brainer for anyone curious about minimalist footwear without breaking the bank.

Available at saguaro.com; $51.
