Review: Lems Trail Blazer Shoe

Built as a wider take on the Trailhead, Lem’s Trail Blazer Shoe ($145) immediately caught my attention for its roomy fit, which my once-broken and never-properly-healed foot needs.

On the trail, there’s plenty of grip, along with enough cushioning to keep the miles from beating me up. The zero-drop design is another defining feature, one that I was admittedly hesitant to try. But the Trail Blazer keeps my feet level and close to the ground, encouraging a more natural stride that I enjoy. Up top, breathable air-mesh and wicking microfiber helps manage moisture while keeping the shoe light.

Overall, I really dig the functionality of these shoes, the way they look, and would highly recommend to anyone looking to transition from a cushier offset to something that feels more natural.
