Review: Nocs Zero Tube
Nocs Provisions has been kicking butt since they arrived on the scene, making high-quality binoculars that are both cool-looking and affordable. Lately they've been crushing the monocular market, too, and their new Zero Tube 10x25 is no exception. This mini-magnifier takes up almost no space, yet brings birds, deer, mountaintops, constellations, and other distant objects into view with clarity and precision. The no-slip grip keep the Zero Tube tight in your hand, even in wet conditions—which are, incidentally, no problem for this waterproof, fog-proof optic. With its adjustable eyecup for variable light, and a belt/pocket clip for quick access, the Zero Tube should be standard equipment on every hike or bike ride. I carry mine on lightweight hunts, too, when I want to keep gear to a bare minimum. $180; nocsprovisions.com.
