Review: Patagonia Terrebonne Joggers
As someone who hikes year-round, I like to keep a rotation of pants and shorts in my truck at all times—because you never know when an after-work dash up the M is calling your name. But if I had to choose just one pair to always have on hand, it would be the Terrebone Joggers from Patagonia. The Terrebones are lightweight, breathable and generously stretchy, so you never feel restricted on a steep incline. The quick-drying fabric and water-repellent finish handle stray raindrops or snowflakes with ease—without that stiff, crunchy feel some weather resistant fabrics have. And the pockets are refreshingly functional (a rarity in women’s pants), complete with a discreet zippered compartment that keeps your keys or valuables secure. I especially appreciate the comfortable waistband that doesn’t dig in the way tights or leggings tend to. And unlike your favorite sweats, the slim fit is flattering and versatile enough to wear straight from mountain to store or a beer with friends.
