Review: Wiley X WX Axe Sunglasses

Veteran-founded and renowned for high-quality shooting/tactical eye protection, Wiley X also makes excellent outdoor-sport and activewear sunglasses. Their WX Axe ($224), for example, which I tested with the Captivate polarized tungsten mirror lenses, increases visual acuity in all lighting conditions. I wear them driving and fishing when it’s bright out, and when the wind picks up—here’s where the company’s better-known background comes in—I can attach the included side shields to keep the dust out.
