Review: CRKT Pilar IV Frame Lock Knife

As a lifelong writer, hunter, angler, and boxer, I’m a big fan of Ernest Hemingway. So it was easy to embrace the CRKT Pilar IV, named for the spy-ship that "Papa" used to scout for German U-boats during World War II. The knife bears its name well, with a razor-sharp edge, smooth action, and solid feel in the hand. The clip holds tight to belt or pocket, and a hole in the lock bar offers additional tether security. $75; crkt.com.
