Review: Pearl Izumi Expedition Jersey

Pearl Izumi’s Expedition Merino Short Sleeve Jersey is lightweight and comfortable, making it a great shirt for longer adventure rides as well as chill cruises. The Expedition’s 150-gram wool blend provides natural thermo-regulation and excels at moisture-wicking for rapid drying and an outstanding cooling effect. The Expedition has a more tailored fit, with an extended rear hem for more coverage when in a traditional road-cycling position, along with a rear zippered security pocket to store necessities. But, have no doubt, the Expedition is still versatile. I ride predominantly in the mountains and love it on the grueling climbs. It would also be a great choice for trail running, due to its lightweight, moisture-wicking properties.
