Review: Gordini Ridgeline Mitten
Now that we've gotten some snow & cold, I finally got to try out the Gordini Women's Ridgeline Mitten, and boy oh boy are they toasty. These mitts worked so well that my hands were sweating by the end of the day—a problem I’d gladly have over being too cold. When the Montana winter finally decides to come around in full force, I know I'll be well-prepared with these.
I'm a big fan of leather mittens. They do a great job of keeping the heat in and the water out. The perfect day out on the snow for me is when I’m not constantly being reminded that my hands and feet are numb. With these bad boys, that’s a thing of the past.
Oh, and did I mention the mitts have a built-in nose-wipe spot for the inevitable snot? Hey, it happens to the best of us! They also have a leash on them, so no need to worry about dropping your mitts off the lift when the music playlist just isn’t hitting right and you need to change it up. The cuffs reach pretty far up the forearm, so I did find that I needed to layer differently given the extra fabric around the wrist area. But that also means I'm not getting snow dumped down my gloves when I wipe out.
