Review: Coalatree Sun Hoodie

The Suray Sun Shirt from Coalatree is a stylish addition to my wardrobe that serves its purpose when I need protection from intense sun—or cold, for that matter. I find that sun hoodies double as excellent baselayers for skiing and ice climbing, as the hood essentially serves as a built-in neck gaiter and lightweight hat that is always attached and ready to deploy.

This shirt's fabric is reinforced with zinc to give the shirt ultimate sun protection—akin to that of zinc sunscreen. The shirt has a small zipper pocket and actually stuffs inside-out into the pocket for compact storage when traveling or in a backpack.
