Wounded Warriors Storm Big Sky
This winter, our nation’s wounded warriors converge on Big Sky January 7-11 to attend Operation SAS (Sports, Afield & Stream), a five-day event hosted by Operation Never Forgotten (ONF). Kicking off with a sportsman’s dinner banquet at the Big Sky conference center, this event features famous guest speakers, silent and live auctions, standup comedians, and much more. Then, over the following four days, the warrior guests will enjoy all things Montana: ice climbing, skiing, hunting workshops, dog sledding, and other great outdoor activities. “We’re showing off what Montana can do to help wounded warriors—showing off the best of what our state has to offer,” states ONF president and founder Linda Kelly. “Montana is a healing state, and introducing our warriors to new outdoor passions will be very therapeutic.” The public is encouraged to show their support by attending the banquet Friday night and volunteering with events throughout the week.
