The east side is home to a range of trad routes (Spare Rib, the Waltz, et al), while Gallatin Tower and the Cube are on the west side. The canyon is a haven for traditional climbers—the many gear routes, thoughtful sequences, and intricate route-finding provide some of the finest rock climbing experiences anywhere. There are a growing number of sport routes, bolt anchors, and mixed lines, creating a fun experience for many different styles and abilities.
Directions: From Bozeman, head west on Huffine Lane to Four Corners. Turn left, head south for approximately 20 minutes, and you're there. For Gallatin Tower and the Cube, park in the prominent pullout on the right. For all other areas, continue a short distance, cross the "35 mph bridge," and park in a large dirt area next to the river.
