Review: Astral BirdDog PFD

There's nothing better to me than a day on the river with my pup. Whether we're on a mellow fishing section or running rapids, optimizing Scout's river safety is my priority—which is why I have her suited up in Astral's BirdDog PFD. 

When the two of us went for a swim on a recent float on the Blackfoot, my fellow paddlers were able to quickly grab Scout out of the river, thanks to the raised grab handle. With the PFD on, she was plenty buoyant and her head stayed out of the water. 

The PFD adjusts in three places, making it easy to find the perfect fit. Its ergonomic design ensures comfort and freedom of movement for Scout, so she doesn't shy away when it comes time to gear up. Plus, she looks pretty stinkin' cute!
