Reivew: Glide Fishing Paddleboard

The Backwater Fishing Board ($549) by Glide is built with space and stability in mind, which makes it ideal for plying the trout-filled backwaters during fall. Numerous attachment points and accessories, including a swiveling rod-holder, mean you can bring all your gear without feeling cramped or having to balance everything awkwardly on the deck. The board is wide and stable, with a massive 500-pound capacity—so go ahead and bring a cooler. Heck, bring the dog. Stripped down, the Backwater is also great for recreational floats in the summertime, or even mild whitewater in the spring. One final point: unlike most paddleboards (and tents), the carrying case is actually roomy enough to hold everything after the first use. Well done, Glide.
