Review: Bedrock Mountain Clogs

In preparation for a multi-day river trip, I was in search of a shoe that would be comfortable around camp, but also functional and durable during the day. I opted for Bedrock's Mountain Clogs. The adjustable backstrap makes them adaptable, so I could loosen them up when lounging around camp or tighten them down when setting off for a side hike or casual morning walk. The grippy outsole provides great traction, even when on slippery or smooth rocks.

The wide toe box left plenty of room to layer socks underneath when the weather cooled off, and made the clogs easy to slip on and off when getting in and out of the tent. These shoes are a solid companion for camping, but also a comfortable option around town, at work, and at home. I don't plan on taking them off until the snow falls (but even then, the rubber toe box and sole may keep 'em around even longer).

Available online; $160.
