Livingston Windfall

Livingston wind-block

Making Livingston livable.

The city of Livingston recently announced plans to build a gargantuan wind-block on the south side of town. After suffering relentless winds hurling up through Paradise Valley and pounding the city for generations, residents say the project is long overdue. “It’s not going to be cheap,” admits project coordinator Gus T. Deh. “But in the long run, it’ll save a lot of money—we’ve all had valuable possessions disappear into the wind. Heck, just last week my neighbor lost his $5,000 Pomeranian—it got whisked into the air, like something out of The Wizard of Oz.” To pay for the border-wall-style structure, Livingston voters approved a 200% tax increase on marijuana sales in the city. breakingwind.org.
