Community Gardens
Springtime is finally here... and that means the fresh produce of summer gardens. However, if you’re like me, you live in an apartment, and the only space available for your gardening dreams are your windowsills. If you’re tired of cramming your pots onto sills and envying friends their sunflowers and carrots, there is an answer, in the form of community gardens. Bozeman has two public spaces allotted for community plots: the Westlake gardens, behind the Westlake BMX Park on the corner of N. 5th and Tamarack; and the Langhor gardens on Tracy Ave. Westlake has 21 plots measuring 13’ x 45', and Langhor gardens has 42 plots at 20’ x 30’. For more information about obtaining a plot, call the City Shop Complex at 582-3200 x4.
