Winter Farmers’ Market – Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture. This market focuses on food and agricultural products, and shoppers can find grassfed meats, goat cheese, root vegetables, greenhouse fare, farm-fresh eggs, starter plants, baked goods, preserves, and more, all under one roof.

Wednesdays March 5-April 2

Life Drawing – Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture. Life Drawing from a live model is open to the public and offers and opportunity to draw or paint a variety of poses in any media. No pre-registration is required, fee of $10 is payable each session. Artists may share tips, but no formal instruction is provided. Bring your own supplies and drop cloth. 587-5844.

April 25

Bobcat Fest on Main –Downtown Bozeman. Head downtown from 5-8pm for a gathering of MSU students, faculty, and community members. With Main Street blocked off, enjoy live music, free hot dogs and burgers, and other free items for students, faculty, and Bozeman locals. This event is an amazing cooperative effort with involvement from over 40 businesses and organizations.

May 3

Vigilante Big-Game Banquet – Virginia City. Join the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for their annual banquet to support big-game animals in our area. These banquets are a highlight of each chapter’s year, where fun and fundraising combine for a memorable evening. 682-7857.

Bogert Farmers’ Market – Bogert Park. The Bogert Farmers’ Market is dedicated to the promotion of local growers, artisans, crafters, musicians, non-profits, businesses, and food purveyors. Come fill your reusable bags with local produce, baked good, and art products.

Art Walk – Downtown Bozeman. This is the first of the summertime art walks, which occur on the second Friday of the month, from June to September. Downtown galleries feature artists’ openings and receptions, often providing snacks and refreshments. Keep an eye out for local musicians serenading strollers as they walk down Main Street.
