Trail Time
Gallatin Valley Land Trust summer walks.
In an effort the make the Main Street to the Mountains trail system more accessible, the Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT) offers guided trail walks throughout the summer. Beginning in June, they’ll host several hour-long walks per week, ranging in difficulty, with themes like fitness, learning, and family. “The goal of the program is to get people to explore new trails and bring the community together,” according to EJ Porth, GVLT’s communications and outreach manager. The trail walks are completely free and open to the public, but private walks for businesses, nonprofits, or other groups can be reserved. The walks are volunteer-led, so if you’re interested in becoming a guide, contact EJ at [email protected].
