Review: Crazy Creek Hex 2.0
The Crazy Creek Hex 2.0 Original is a lightweight chair offering portable comfort and support in places that are normally anything but comfortable. The design seems simple, but the chair is rugged and durable, without any extra bulk. It has heavy-duty, reinforced buckled straps that can be tightened for a more upright sitting position—offering exceptional back support—or loosened for a more reclined position. Unbuckling the straps altogether allows the chair to lay flat, so it can be utilized as an extra sleeping pad in a pinch. In terms of materials, the it's constructed with carbon-fiber stays for increased durability. The surface material is water resistant, and extra insulation shields you from the wind; and protects your butt from the cold, wet ground.
When space and weight are issues, this chair is tough to beat. It’s significantly lighter and easier to pack than other backpacking chairs, and takes up minimal space when stowed away (you can conveniently roll it up and cinch it tightly with the outer strap). Easily attach it to the outside of a backpack, or stash it in the car for quick use just about anywhere.
The chair comes in multiple sizes and colors making it customizable for your desired fit and needs. Whether hiking in the mountains, fishing on a lakeshore, tailgating after a successful day of skiing, sitting around a campfire, or watching your favorite sports team on not-so-comfy, cold bleachers, the Hex 2.0 provides exceptional comfort and support on-the-go.
