Review: Wild Rye Alice Chammy
To me, bike shorts have always felt constraining and uncomfortable. This summer, after enough bumps and bruises, I figured it was time to try another brand. Wild Rye’s Alice Chammy did not disappoint. Even after a long time in the saddle, the chammy’s cushioning holds true, keeping me comfortable and on the bike for longer stretches of time.
In terms of material, the short’s fabric wicks away moisture and dries quickly, keeping me cool on blistering-hot summer and early-fall days. The high-waisted elastic waist and leg bands don’t dig in or cause chafing, and even make the bike-short look flattering.
