Review: Minus 33 Midweight 1/4 Zip
As someone who can be sensitive to wool, the Midweight 245 from Minus 33 came as a pleasant surprise. The merino wool is soft against my skin and doesn't have that scratchy feeling I normally associate with wool layers.
I tend to get cold easily, so having a midweight that keeps me warm on its own or as a layer makes this one of my most versatile pieces. The mock neck is great for cooler days, and the quarter zip allows for easy temperature adjustment. When packing light, it's nice knowing the breathable, anti-odor material and sweat-wicking properties make all-day or multi-day wear possible.
To top things off, the Sequoia is also machine washable—which means no special loads or remembering to keep things separate. If you usually avoid wool because of maintenance or comfort but still want something genuinely warm, this should definitely be in your wardrobe.
