Review: Bedrock Cairn Evo PRO Sandals
When I was eyeing a pair of Bedrock Cairn Evo PROs, I assumed they'd be my go-to sandals for river floats, but I've somehow ended up wearing them every other day, too. Between floating the river, working in the garden, and walking my pup around town and on local trails, they've handled everything I've thrown at them.
The ultra-sticky Vibram Megagrip outsole gives me plenty of confidence on slick boat ramps, moving around the raft, and scrambling across wet rocks. The G-hook strap system keeps my feet feeling locked in without being fussy, and I appreciate that it doesn't clog up with mud or loosen after a big day on the river.
The best part? There was zero break-in period. I slipped them on day one and boom: no blisters, no hot spots. All I've got to show for it is a solid Bedrock tan line. Even after getting soaked on float days or splashing through creek crossings, they don't rub or get uncomfortable like a lot of sandals do. They dry quickly, stay comfortable, and feel just as good at the end of the day as they did when I put them on.
Now I understand why it feels like half of Bozeman is wearing Bedrocks.
