Gallatin River Celebration 2004

No one can say for sure what day the Gallatin River was born. But that doesn’t mean we can’t throw it a party every year.

After all, the Gallatin River provides us with priceless beauty, world-class recreational opportunities, essential habitat for native species, and economic development every day of the year.

You can help pay tribute to the Gallatin River by participating in American Wildlands’ 2004 Gallatin River Celebration, July 9-17, in locations throughout Gallatin County.

A Bozeman-based conservation group, American Wildlands, works throughout the U.S. Northern Rockies to protect key landscapes that preserve connectivity and native species. They continue leading the grassroots campaign to gain the Gallatin River protection from permanent degradation to its water quality through an Outstanding Resource Water (ORW) designation.

You can find out more about American Wildlands and the Gallatin ORW campaign at www.wildlands.org. For Gallatin River Celebration information, check out the schedule below.
