Hyalite Cleanup

As the leading steward of Bozeman’s most popular recreation area, Friends of Hyalite hosts biannual cleanups to keep this special place pristine. In the last decade, they've removed over 10,000 pounds of trash from campgrounds, trails, and parking lots in the canyon.

For National Public Lands Day on September 23, Friends of Hyalite will be organizing volunteers to work on five different projects in maintaining Hyalite for the following seasons. Participants will get vouchers for free entrance to national parks, along with pizza and snacks after the projects are finished.
