Mariah Leuschen-Lonergan

Mariah Leuschen-Lonergan is a Public Affairs Specialist on the Custer Gallatin National Forest. During the summers she often serves as a Public Information Officers on wildland fires across the Northern Region of Montana, Idaho, and Dakotas, as well as the nation. Living in Bozeman since 2012 and growing up in part in northwestern Montana, Mariah loves the outdoors; you can find her trail running, training for some race, playing with her toddler, enjoying a camping or backing trip with the family, or any other outdoor sport that may spark interest. Most recently, Mariah enjoyed working with the communities around the Custer Gallatin National Forest to help bring together a new Forest Plan for the National Forest lands in the area for the coming decade or more. She loves interacting, appreciating, and playing in and around our gorgeous ecosystems we are lucky enough to call home.
