Karin Kirk
Karin Kirk is a passionate educator, skier, and writer. She has spent 16 happy seasons (and counting) as a Bridger Bowl instructor, teaching on the Snowflake lift, the Ridge, and everywhere in between. Every Thursday, she can be found just a few turns ahead of her hard-charging women’s ski class, who are a source of inspiration and fun. Outside of Bridger’s operating season, she extends ski season by hiking for turns in wild locations like Chile, Iceland, and our very own Yellowstone Park. Her work has appeared in Powder, Backcountry, and 32 Degrees, and she writes monthly columns for Carve. She’s also a geologist and science educator, and occasionally combines all her professions into one crazy objective like skiing on semi-active volcanoes.
