Give O/B a Boost

For over 25 years, Outside Bozeman Magazine has captured southwest Montana in its outdoor-oriented entirety. It's where locals turn to engage in health & fitness, outdoor sports & activities, news, local color, and more. We inform, entertain, and edify; we bring awareness to important local groups and issues; we promote worthy causes; we celebrate local heroes; and we tell the hard truths and controversial stories that most media shies away from. And each week, we spread the word about local news and events, to encourage participation and engagement, which helps strengthen our community.

What's more, we've given away tens of thousands of dollars in outdoor equipment, apparel, and other prize packages. From fishing rods to fully-outfitted rafts, from skis to ski trips, from mountain bikes to mountain-town vacations, we help keep locals geared up for adventures near and far.

But things have never been harder for small, independent media. Skyrocketing printing costs, retailers going out of business, unscrupulous advertisers not paying their bills—not to mention a general tightening of purse strings in the outdoor industry. Help us keep O/B going strong for another 25 years, with insider humor, outdoor education, fun stories from the field, expert tips & tricks, and hard-hitting journalism.

To make this happen, we need to expand our operation to include more non-print delivery. In addition to growing our podcast, there's ample opportunity in social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Our website could use an overhaul, as well. Together, these alternative outlets will generate sufficient revenue to compensate for low print margins.
