Review: Rinehart RhinoBlock Target
Bow hunting is a game of numbers: spend enough time in the woods, and you’ll eventually cross paths with an elk. Stack up enough encounters and you might have a shot opportunity. With the odds of success already so low, bow hunters are wise to control everything they can—namely, shot precision. If you’re not confident in your accuracy, you’d better practice for another season before rolling the dice on a real, live animal.
For that, a good target—like the Rinehart RhinoBlock XL—is essential. This 18” x 18” x 13” foam block features aiming points on all six sides, and a replaceable foam insert to extend the life of the target when shooting broadheads. The target stops arrows in their tracks, and after a month of heavy shooting, not a single arrow has passed through—or even poked out the other side. Best of all, though, one side of the target is molded into the shape of a deer’s bread basket, so you can mimic real-life field scenarios.
With a bult-in handle, the RhinoBlock is easily portable—so there's no excuse for leaving it at home. Toss the target in the back of the truck to practice shooting during summer camping trips or after work. Then, when you’re finally face-to-face with an elk in September, the odds might just be stacked in your favor.
