Review: TREW X Dovetail Rock Creek Work Bib
This season, I was not properly prepared for the groundhog to bring on another six weeks of winter. With hand-me-down ski pants and six sweaters, I was either warm and immobile, or cold and shivering. I recently upgraded to the the Rock Creek Bib, a collaboration between TREW Gear and Dovetail Workwear that offers protection and comfort even in harsh conditions. The heavy-duty waterproof fabric allows me to fall flat on my face and not feel even a chill below. It’s equipped with what feel like infinite pockets, all reinforced inside and out for pocketknives, avy beacons, radios, snacks, you name it. Although the three-layer fabric is tough and insulated, the nylon-spandex combo takes the weight off, providing lots of breathing room to move with full potential on the slopes. My favorite feature, though: the zipper-protected drop-seat for when nature calls. Finally, ladies, not only our male friends can go while on the go. Available at trewgear.com or dovetailworkwear.com; $600.
