Review: Oboz Bridger Mid

This isn’t my first pair of Oboz, and chances are, it won’t be my last. I got a good season-and-a-half out of my previous pair before, not surprisingly, my pre-teen son abducted them. While he’s out chasing speed goats with his father, wearing my hand-me-downs, I found sweet victory with the stylish, feminine-looking Bridger Mid Waterproof in Rio Red.

If you're looking for quality, comfort, and durability, look no further. From the moment I slipped on my Oboz, comfort stood out. The O-Fit insoles that Oboz incorporates into all of their footwear live up to the hype. As someone who struggles with flat feet, arch support is always important to me. The O-Fits offer support and cushioning in all the right places.

The Bridgers come hike-ready straight out of the box with no break-in required. They offer outstanding traction, imparting peace of mind and confidence with each step. Whether you’re scrambling up mountainsides, logging miles on trail, or rock-hopping over streams, the durable Oboz Bridger Mid has you covered. If rock-hopping over streams gets the best of you, no worries. This lightweight boot is waterproof and breathable, keeping your feet dry and protected from the elements.

Environmental consciousness is possibly the best feature of Oboz's footwear. Through their One More Tree program, they plant a tree for each pair of footwear sold. Plus, Oboz (Outside + Bozeman) is local, so you have all the feel goods of supporting a local business.
