Review: Minus33 Tee Shirt

Tech tees may be a dime a dozen, but good ones—those that fit & perform well and don't smell awful after a single outing—aren't so abundant. The Minus33 Lightweight Wool T-Shirt is one of the good ones. It's 100% merino, so it doesn't hold the stink, yet it's soft, light, breathable, and durable. And somehow, it's stretchy, too. Like all wool, it wicks moisture well and won't put you at risk around a campfire. It insulates when wet, and it wipes away moisture from eyeglasses and optics better than synthetic fabrics. If they made a slightly shorter version (I'm 5'8" and the large runs halfway to my knees), I'd buy every color and retire my manky polypro for good. Available at minus33.com; $70.
