Review: LOWA Fortux GTX
With LOWA’s long list of hiking and hunting boots, it’s no surprise that they now have a formidable running shoe. That’s why I had no hesitation in grabbing a pair of LOWA Fortux GTX running shoes. A cushioned, rocker-shaped midsole, combined with a relatively stiff outsole provides a comfortable fit on diverse trails and longer runs. The jacquard material and Gore-Tex membrane in the upper provide a barrier to water while being breathable and tear resistant. From creek crossings and dewy morning meadows to the jagged Ridge, the Fortux GTX protect my feet in all my trail running endeavors. $190; lowaboots.com.
