Review: Kuru Surge Sneaker
When it comes to shoes, nothing is as satisfying as out-of-the-box comfort, and the biomechanically engineered Kuru Surge walking shoes do not disappoint on that front. When I put them on for the first time, I was eager to test them out, so I jumped off the couch and strolled a few miles of mixed pavement and gravel trails—and was immediately impressed with the coziness of this shoe. As an everyday walker, I put on hundreds of miles a year and burn through a pair of sneakers seemingly every trip around the sun. Therefore, durability is high on my list of priorities and the Surge features a rugged outsole that is burly, firm, and designed to withstand daily wear & tear over the long haul.
Moving to the interior of the shoe, the proprietary KURUSOLE flexes dynamically with each step and cradles the heel instead of sitting flat, making the shoes extra cushy and supportive. Meanwhile, the ULTIMATE INSOLES are equipped for superior shock absorption and arch support.
Overall, I have no doubt that the Surges are better designed than most shoes to handle the relentless use I will ask of them, while providing said outstanding comfort and reinforcement. I can say confidently that these shoes will make more than one trip around the sun, and my feet—and therefore mind, body, and soul—will be much happier than before.
