Begin the celebration of old-growth forests with a guided hike along the Jack Creek Trail where naturalists will interpret the features of the forest that make it an “old-growth” forest, followed by a dedication celebration and champagne toast. Then, gather at the Jack Creek Education Center for a potluck and talk about old-growth forests in Montana and the habitat they provide for a variety of wildlife species.
