Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has officially kicked off its season setting process—the period every two years when the agency reviews, updates, and finalizes the state’s hunting regulations. Evaluate season dates, quotas, permit areas, and management strategies for big game, upland birds, and other species.
There'll be public meetings across the state to present proposed regulations before the commission votes early December.
