One of the most impactful pieces of policy on the future of our home, The Gallatin County Future Land Use Map (FLUM), is nearing the finish line, but its fate is uncertain. This tool is intended to guide where and how we grow based on the values of our community. Your voice is critical in this final step to ensure that the County Commissioners' decision reflects public interest.

Many, many hours of hard work by the public, stakeholders, and technical experts have gone into envisioning and informing the Future Land Use Map. This past week, the Planning Board recommended against adopting the draft FLUM and proposed drastic changes.

Be an advocate for wildlife, water, recreation, clean air, public health, and safety by showing up to the County Commission meeting and using your voice. If you can't attend in person, consider submitting an email comment to [email protected] or attend the event digitally here
