5th Annual Sustainability Fair
July 10, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Depot Rotary Park in Livingston, Montana
Sustainability is…a vision and a journey that promotes environmental stewardship, economic prosperity, and community well being. Sustainability is achieved through the choices we make every day.
If you’ve ever worried about the effects of modern living and growth in Montana, a trip to the Sustainability Fair can be an empowering experience. Sponsored by the Corporation for the Northern Rockies, the fair brings cutting edge energy, building and transportation technologies; locally grown food, native plants, environmentally friendly apparel, cosmetics and housewares; sustainably produced arts and crafts and energy efficient office products and equipment all together for one day. Over 70 regional vendors will be on hand.
Vendors offer free mini workshops throughout the day on their area of sustainable expertise. Entertainment, food and children’s activities are also part of the festivities, which last year drew over 2,000 visitors. The Corporation for the Northern Rockies is a sustainable economic development nonprofit which serves Idaho, Montana and Wyoming from their base in Livingston. Contact them for more information about the Sustainability Fair at (406) 222-0730, or visit their website at www.northrock.org.
