X-Adventure 7 Ski Boots - SALOMON
When you find something you love it’s hard to give it up. For the past 10 years I’ve been cross-country skiing in my Salomon Backcountry 7 boots. But, after countless kilometers kicking and gliding through the backcountry, they’ve gotten a little packed out and soft. Time to upgrade.
The newest edition of my beloved boots is Salomon’s X-Adventure 7. Not only has the name been updated, but the boot has too. With an articulated cuff and stiff sole, the boot is bomber enough for linking a few tele turns in powder and comfortable enough to tour around in all day long. And the thermo-formed heel locks your foot securely in place to prevent heel lift.
Even with its new look and beefed up attitude, these boots still have all the things I loved in my old pair: extreme comfort, stability, and Thinsulate insulation. Try these and you’ll be wearing them for the next decade. $180; salomonnordic.com.
