Review: FLPSDE Bottle

The word "essential" gets thrown around a lot these days, often to promote comfort items that are not, in fact, essential. What is essential are food and water—both of which can be carried in the FLPSDE dual-chamber water-snack combo container. It looks like a regular insulated water bottle, but the bottom has a compartment for stashing granola, nuts, berries, or any other like item—which can quash those hunger pangs and extend an outing, especially for parents taking the young'uns on a hike. For my part, I stash dog treats for my pup, which keeps him happy and lively on after-work outings. And for the fashion-conscious, for whom the water bottle has become an aesthetic accoutrement, the FLPSDE comes in a wide range of colors. $35; flpsde.com.
