Review: High Country Bike Frame Armor
If you’re an avid mountain biker in Montana, your front tire will kick up rocks and your frame could no doubt benefit from the modular, EVA-foam-backed carbon-fiber protection provided by High Country’s Bike Frame Armor. Weighing in at virtually nothing, the HCBFA is super tough and designed to fit almost any modern bike frame. The 11-piece set seems fairly expensive, but overall it’s cheap insurance for a bike worth 50 times as much, not to mention that the armor is made by a one-man crew right here in the Rockies.
Available at area stores; $120.
