AKU Rock Lite II GTX

Living in Bozeman, it’s not uncommon to leave work and head directly to a favorite trail for a hike, mountain-bike ride, or some other afternoon adventure. Having a shoe that can do it all is essential, and the Rock Lite II GTX from AKU is just that. These lightweight, breathable, multi-terrain shoes employ lightweight Vibram Predator II outsoles that handle all the abuse modest adventuring can dish out. A waterproof Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane protects the upper portion of the shoes, keeping my feet nice and dry even in damp conditions, while the EVA midsole provides all-day comfort. The Rock Lites are tough enough to tackle the trail, yet casual enough for everyday wear at work or play. Without question, they’re my favorite footwear, and they’ve held up to everything I’ve thrown at them (and spilled on them) so far. $150; aku.it.
