Review: Mystery Ranch Marshall Pack

Mystery Ranch is at it again with their newest gift to the expedition hunter, the Marshall. Set to haul and last as long as needed, this 6,400-cubic-inch monster is fit with two torpedo pockets and a full-length side-zip for interior access at all times. Its three side lashes are great for carrying your weapon on lengthy approaches, and the Speedzip in the bottom holds both your sleeping bag and pad, leaving room in the pack’s middle for all the other gear you’ll need for multiple days of backcountry travel. Before the final stalk, detach the brain and use it as a daypack (my favorite feature). After the shot is made, unleash the Overload Shelf and strap on however much you can handle. Available online; $649.
