Pat Callis has never been one to sit still. Since moving to Montana in 1968, he has spent 55 years teaching chemistry at MSU, logged 23 Ridge Run finishes, and kept climbing well into his 80's. From quantum chemistry to steep rock and ice routes, Callis has built a life around difficult problems—and has no plans to slow down.
