The Wild Steelhead Coalition (WSC) is a not-for-profit group of concerned citizens who are committed to reversing the decline of the wild steelhead in the waters of the Pacific Northwest. Established in 2000, the organization has raised thousands of dollars for the cause and has put significant pressure on state legislatures throughout the Northwest to help ensure healthy stocks of the fish.

A fundraiser for the Wild Steelhead Coalition was held at the 2007 Fly Fishing Retailer World Trade Expo in Denver on September 16-18. Bozeman’s own Simms Fishing Products made the event possible in part by organizing a fly-fishing photo gallery that brought in nearly $5,000 for the WSC. The photo gallery consisted of high-end work donated by professional photographers from across the country.
