The LOWA Explorer GTX Mid is a workhorse of a hiking boot that feels light and agile. Meant to tackle rough terrain and long miles, these boots are great for exploring Montana’s wild places in the warmer months. The sticky Vibram soles provide traction on steep, rocky surfaces, and the GoreTex keeps your feet high and dry. Combine these features with a durable leather-and-textile upper, and you have a boot you can rely on for many seasons; $240.
